The Australian Trellis Door Company have installed 4 large roller shutters to the new Grill’d Burgers restaurant which opened recently at Sydney’s Top Ryde Shopping Centre.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Each roller shutter on this project has a clear polycarbonate infill curtain which allows complete through vision, and each is electrically operated. Key-switch operation provides security for the restaurant by restricting the personnel which have access control to the premises. The finish in this instance is in natural clear anodised giving the product a more industrial appearance.

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) has installed its RS7 transparent roller shutter to a very large store front at the new Mad Mex store which recently opened at Stanhope Gardens, in Sydney.

Mad Mex is a multinational chain of Mexican fast-food restaurants.
The very wide shopfront opening is secured by a single electric operated roller shutter 6500mm wide x 3200mm high. It has a midrail installed in the centre of the shutter curtain which provides extra stability, and two (2) high quality Omega key switches were installed as an extra security control and loss prevention tool. Shutters spanning such a wide frontage in a single unit are not recommended for external installations.

The RS7 ClearVision roller door is designed for commercial shopfronts requiring security while maintaining through-vision, particularly in shopping centers where stock visibility deters intruders and keeps displays attractive after hours.
The shutter can span up to 5.5 meters wide in one section when motorized, or up to 3.4 meters wide (limited to 10 square meters) when manually operated. Larger spans can be achieved using center mullions for wider frontages.
No, the RS7 ClearVision does not require a bottom track, making it ideal for applications where traditional tracks would create trip hazards or interfere with customer access.
The shutter is available in manual or electric operation.
The shutters are available in a clear anodised or powdercoated colour finish from the Dulux Duralloy powdercoated range.
