a) for our folding closures either transparent polycarbonate for through visibility, or alternatively perforated mesh infill which allows for ventilation. A third option is a bar grille design with vertical aluminium rods; and
b) for our bi-folding stackable doors transparent laminated safety glass for strength and through visibility. An opaque polycarbonate infill option is also available for a lightweight alternative.
7)Seamless lock-up can be achieved through a series of intermediate up/down locks.
8)Compliance with the emergency egress provisions of the BCA can be achieved in certain circumstances
Available in an anodised aluminium finish or alternatively Powdercoat finishes are available from the Dulux Duralloy powdercoat range.

The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) recently completed a project to the member’s bar at the prestigious Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) at Sydney’s Rushcutters Bay. The project required the installation of bar closure doors along their curved bar countertop.
The Client
The CYCA is one of Australia’s leading yacht clubs, and is widely reputed as one of the leaders in ocean racing in the country. It is probably best known as the host of the world-famous annual Sydney to Hobart yacht race.
The Project
Specified by renowned architectural firm Allen Jack + Cottier (AJ + C), the project involved installing ATDC’s 300mm wide panel bar closure doors in a black powdercoated finish.
Being in a bar environment with the prevalence of alcohol and food, a fully perforated mesh infill was specified for the bar counter door curtain for ventilation purposes.
ATDC’s Solution
ATDC’s up/down locking mechanisms assisted in achieving seamless lock up, which also required the ability to gain entry to the bar area without the need for opening up the entire door.
Project managers for the job were St Leonards-based Belmadar Constructions.
